As the Principal of Lisnagelvin Primary School, I extend to you a very warm welcome to our website.  Through this website we aim to give you a flavour of the pastoral and academic success all pupils in our school can experience.  We would like every child to have special and happy memories of their time with us in Lisnagelvin Primary, giving them the skills, attitudes and desire to reach their full potential. 

Lisnagelvin Primary has a proud and rich tradition of academic excellence, pastoral support and extra-curricular provision.  The Pupils, Staff and Governors are proud of our collective achievements and wish for this to be built upon further.

We rightly have much to be proud about in Lisnagelvin - not least of all because of our pupils.  Our ethos is based on the fact that “Every Child Matters”. With a strong emphasis on providing a learning environment which meets the needs of every individual learner, to developing confidence and self-esteem through our strong pastoral provision and our ‘Music & Drama’ activities, we aim to give every child a great start in life.

We have a very strong Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and our school success is due to the deep and lasting partnership between pupils, teachers and parents and the support given to us by parents in helping to fulfil the potential ability of each individual.

In addition, our website is a place where you will find information about the school, its location, events, term dates and current activities.

Our Mission Statement is "Learning Today for Living Tomorrow".  For us, this encapsulates the pastoral and academic excellence we strive to achieve and maintain every day, whilst preparing our children for their future lives.
