Even though we are learning from home, we have lots of activities planned at Lisnagelvin to promote reading and a love of books.
- Everyone has received a World Book Day token worth £1 to purchase a World Book Day book at Tesco Lisnagelvin, Tesco Quayside or Sainsbury’s Strand Road.
- Every class will have a virtual visit from the authors Tom Fletcher or Stuart Reid. The authors will read extracts from their books and share about the process of writing.
- We want everyone to read their favourite book at home. Find a cosy or unusual place to read and ask an adult to send a photo to your teacher on Seesaw or Teams.
