P5H Tesco Visit

Primary Five had a wonderful time participating in the Tesco 'Farm to Fork' programme.  Our morning started by learning about the sugar content in various breakfast cereals.  We then had a sugar hunt to find the actual sugar content in each cereal.   We were surprised with some of our results!  Janine then allowed us to have some fun creating our own breakfast cereal - a healthy option.  Next we were given a challenge to complete.  All of us  sorted fruit and vegetables according to colour and country of origin.  We all thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Tesco Lisnagelvin.
