Mesolithic Adventure for Primary Five.
30th Sep 2016
All pupils of Primary Five travelled back in time to experience aspects of what life was like during the Mesolithic Period in Ireland. Active Learning provided the children with the opportunity to dress up in traditional Stone Age style clothing, grind wheat to make 'bread' which they cooked on a stone fire, explore microliths, build a wattle fence, make and design a Stone Age clay pot and finally hunt 'Jedward' the wild boar. All children had a great time exploring the past.
