Hugh Lindsay Annual Public Speaking Competition

Our annual public speaking competition took place on Thursday 9th June. All children from P6 and P7 were involved in the preliminary rounds and our 12 successful finalists proudly presented their speeches to their parents, peers and the judging panel. Congratulations to this year's joint winners, Lily Barr and Ellie Nolan. Lily's speech about superheroes was thought provoking as she told us who has inspired her. Ellie entertained us with her speech about how she feels Shakespeare still rocks 400 years later. Many thanks to Hugh Lindsay and our judges, Elizabeth Charlesson and Charlie Herron.
