REVISED PHA Schools Guidance & Letter from Dr McBride
No doubt you will have heard on the recent news, the changes on how schools will manage positive COVID cases. No longer will we be sending whole classes to get tested, which causes stress and anxiety for many of our pupils. The process of identifying close contacts has now been taken over by the Public Health Agency. A letter from the PHA explaining the new arrangements can be read below.
Please also find attached an interesting document written by Sir Michael McBride, the chief medical officer, in which he sets out the rationale behind the changes.
