Kelloggs Breakfast Club Winners 2015

Lisnagelvin Primary School were announced the winners of Kelloggs’ Best Breakfast Club in Northern Ireland via a web broadcast on Monday by Matthew Burton from Educating Yorkshire.

For months, entries have been flooding in from all over the UK and an expert panel of judges were involved in choosing the winners. There were a record number of entries with more than 450 clubs taking part from all over the UK.

The school will receive £1,500 plus a trip to the Houses of Parliament for 3 staff and 5 pupils, where winners will receive their award at a prestigious ceremony and take part in a tour to learn more about the House of Commons and House of Lords. Lisnagelvin Primary School will also receive school uniforms which will be donated by George at Asda and some gaming packs by Hasbro.

A big thank you goes out to all the children and parents who attend Lisnagelvin Primary School’s Breakfast Club each day. Also a big thank you to Mrs Carol McFaul (supervisor), Mrs Karen Cameron (cook), Mrs Julie Ferris (extended schools’ co-ordinator), Mr Ian Hyndman and Mr Nigel Falconer (caretakers).
